These red oak bokken are the standard for many Japanese martial arts. They are used by many styles including Kenjitsu, Aikido, Ju Jitsu and Ninjutsu. They are perfect for partner work, drills and forms.

A training weapon in the shape of a katana, ideal for weapons practice. Comes with tsuba and rubber ring. The red oak variant is slightly heavier than the white oak version.

The red oak bokken comes in 40in/101.6cm, which is the standard katana (samurai sword) length which helps the transition when moving onto katana swords.  Each individual wooden bokken has it own feel.  In an ideal world, you would want to get your hands on a few a choose from the selection. This way you can find a bokken you love and is perfect for your needs
